Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo recently celebrated her 29th birthday. Although she is at the right age to settle down, Sarah admits in an interview with Boy Abunda that she is not yet ready to get married.
Sarah says she also dreams of getting married one day just like most typical women. She also talked about walking down the aisle yet she knows it will not happen anytime soon.
She reveals: “Iyon totoo po, gusto kong isipin na handa na ako [to get married], pero hindi pa. Gusto ko, pero hindi pa.”
Her boyfriend of two years, actor Matteo Guidicelli and Sarah are both at the ideal age to get married. Both are also accomplished in their respective fields and can very well afford a good life together. But Sarah says she wanted to be worthy for Matteo as his future wife.
“I don’t want to be selfish sa partner ko. Kasi hindi ba, para mahanap mo ang ‘Mr. Right’ mo, kailangan maging ‘Ms. Right’ ka muna. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life loving you and sana maging patient ka sa akin. Kasi late bloomer ako,” explains the Pop Star Princess.
And even if she had just turned 29-years-old last Tuesday, Sarah says she still feels like a teenager.
She feels like she is only in her early 20’s or even a teenager at that. But she hopes Matteo will be able to understand her and she asks for his patience as well as his enduring love.
