- Sherilyn Reyes recently turned to Instagram to laud her Ken Chan and Ayra Mariano whom she had worked with on GMA network’s ‘Magpakailanman.’
- The actress said she couldn’t help but compare the kindness and respect she felt from the both Ken and Ayra from the other young artists she had previously worked with who disrespected her.
- Sherilyn also shared that respect is something she had always instilled in her children, particularly with her eldest, Ryle Santiago who is also in showbiz.
Actress Sherilyn Reyes turned to her Instagram account to praise young Kapuso artists Ken Chan and Ayra Mariano whom she had worked with a recent episode of “Magpakailanman.”
She said she could not help but compare the attitude of these two young artists with the other young stars she had previously worked with who disrespected her.
Sherilyn shared a photo of herself with both Ken and Ayra in separate photos. She wrote: “Hindi ko alam kung kailangan bang ituro sa mga baguhang aktor ang pagbibigay respeto sa mga nauna sa kanila sa industriya [showbiz]. Numero unong bilin ko kay Ryle [her eldest son] ang lumapit at magpakilala. Kahit paulit-ulit, magbigay ng respeto.”
The actress also said that shyness is not an excuse not to introduce one’s self. “Sa daming baguhan ngayon na di marunong magbigay-galang, hindi dahilan ang hiya dahil mabibigyan ‘yun ng maling kahulugan. Hindi nakakatuwa na ikaw ay tinitingnan lang at dinadaan-daanan. Dapat magbigay galang at bumati sa mga katrabaho.”
She had nothing but good words for both Ken and Ayra.
She believes they will go far in terms of their career because of their positive attitude. Sherilyn also left a message for Ken and Ayra’s fans: “Kung fans nila kayo, tama kayo ng iniidiolo.”
