Viewers, coaches pick four “The Voice Teens” Grand Finalists

The top eight artists of “The Voice Teens” are fighting tooth and nail this weekend (July 22 and 23) as they fight for the chance to represent their respective teams in the highly anticipated grand finals next week.

In this weekend’s live semifinals, the show will combine the percentages of the public votes, as well as the coaches’ scores for each artist in order to determine the top-scoring artist from each team.

The road for the coaches has not been easy after having to make tough decisions every week to whittle down their teams. This proved to be difficult for some of them, and even led to coach Sharon shedding tears during the battles and coach Sarah crying during the knockouts before picking a winning artist.

Coach Lea, on the other hand, had to defend coach Sarah after the popstar royalty earned criticisms online for her team’s top three artists. Netizens also have differing opinions on which artist coach Bamboo should have picked to remain in the competition during the first live shows.

As the show inches closer to its conclusion, expect an even more intense vocal showdown between Team Lea’s Chan and Mica, Team Sarah’s Jona and Nisha, Team Bamboo’s Emarjhun and Isabela, and Team Sharon’s Christy and Jeremy.

Whose performances will capture the hearts of the coaches and viewers? Who will have the chance to fight for family and dreams in the grand finals?

Don’t miss the exciting battle of teen artists in “The Voice Teens,” on ABS-CBN and on ABS-CBN HD (SkyCable ch 167). For the show’s past episodes, login to iWant TV or on skyondemand.com.ph for Sky subscribers.
