- In an interview with PhilStar, Ricky shared his admiration to his Korean co-stars for their professionalism.
More and more Filipinos are getting into the K-Drama trend.
Riding the wave, GMA Network is working on another Korean-themed series entitled ‘My Korean Jagiya’. Among its stars is veteran actor Ricky Davao.
According to Ricky, he has nothing but praises for his Korean co-stars. “Tuluy-tuloy lang ang trabaho nila. Minsan tayo hindi ba kung napapagod na medyo tinatamad na, pero sila mukhang hindi napapagod. Minsan sila pa ang may gusto na ituloy pa ang trabaho”, said the actor.
Ricky also added that they are always on time and enthusiastic — traits that are normally taken for granted here in the Philippines.
Interestingly, Ricky also shared that his Korean co-stars were very much pleased with how artists are treated here.
In Korea, actors would have to wait inside their cars during taping. The demands of the industry are much stricter . The veteran actor also pointed out that based on the stories narrated to him by his co-stars, he realized how thankful Filipino artists should be.
