On the recent interview of PUSH.com with veteran director Chito Roño, he answered the issue about the sudden exclusion of JC Santos in movie Ghost Bride. He revealed that the schedule of the “100 Tula Para Kay Stella” actor is the main problem.
“Yung schedule talaga ni JC ang naging problema,” he said.
“Well, magulo kami kasi nga, na-move nang na-move yung kanyang schedule. Nagsusyuting na siya ng ibang pelikula non, eh,” he added.
“Sa original schedule namin sa kanya, hindi pumasok kasi may election pala sa Nepal. Doon kami magsu-shoot. Eh, sinabihan kami ng producer namin do’n na ‘wag kayong magkakamaling pumunta ng eleksyon kasi parang Pilipinas pala ang level ng election doon – yung mainit, magulo.
“Yung unang schedule pa lang namin doon sa Nepal may religious festival yung mga monks. Basta lahat ng temple don, lahat ng monks hindi pumuwede. Kasi pumunta yata yung pinaka-cardinal nila,” he explained.
Direk Chito also revealed that JC was his choice for the role and still wants to work with him if given a chance.
“Choice ko siya. But there will be another time, alam ko naman yon. Magaling naman si JC. I like him, gusto ko rin yung attitude niya na very positive. Ang saya-saya pa ng mukha niya, di ba?” he said.
Meanwhile, Christian Bables replaced JC Santos for the role.
