Comedian Vice Ganda jokes in front of ABS-CBN Executives on “Its Showtime.”

Did Vice Ganda offended Direk Lauren Dyogi?
On September 2017 episode of the ABS-CBN noontime show, “It’s Showtime,” Vice Ganda cracked jokes in front of Kapamilya Executives, Direk Lauren Dyogi.
The 42-year old comedian commented during the Tawag ng Tanghalan segment of the ABS-CBN noontime show. “Who do you think you are? Kanta ‘yan ng mga empleyado sa mga boss nila. Yung makautos akala mo nabili yung kaluluwa nila. Ganyan yung mga boss, minsan, nanggigigil ako.”
Vice Ganda then asked her co-host Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach if she experienced working for a boss in the past.
“Oo naman, waitress ako dati sa England. Bago ako nag-culinary” Pia shared.
“Ang hirap ng buhay ng empleyado,” Vice immediately answered. He then noticed that some ABS-CBN executives were present in the audience area at that time. “Nandito yung mga boss, e. Gusto ko na rin makapagsalita,” he added.
Suddenly, ABS-CBN TV production head, Direk Lauren Dyogi was focused on the camera.
“Alam mo yung mga boss natin, ang laki talaga ng utang na loob natin diyan. Kung hindi rin naman dahil sa kanila, wala tayo,” Vice Ganda abruptly said after seeing Direk Dyogi.
“May sinasabi ka kanina, Vice? Nanggigigil ka?” co-host Vhong Navarro teased Vice Ganda.
“Siyempre, may pagkakataon na nanggigigil ka sa boss pero mali yun kasi boss mo yun eh,” Vice answered
“Dapat unawain mo, kung ayaw mo sumunod sa boss, gumawa ka ng sarili mong trabaho, gumawa ka ng sarili mong korporasyon. Yan po ang mga boss namin na nagbibigay sa amin ng trabaho. Sa ngalan po ng lahat ng empleyado sa ABS-CBN, gusto naming magpasalamat sa lahat ng ginawa ninyo para sa amin para mabago ang buhay namin. Binago niyo ang buhay namin,” Vice Ganda added and the whole audience laughed.
Lauren Dyogi then answered Vice Ganda, “Actually, sinusundo ko si Vice. Pinapatawag lang ni Tita Cory.” He was referring to Cory Vidanes, Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast of the ABS-CBN.
“Dapat unawain niyo yun. Yung mga boss, para sa atin rin yun kaya nila nagagawa iyon. Actually, mas nakakagigil yung mga empleyadong yun. Nest year ko na nga lang ilalabas ang gigil ko,” Vice Ganda laughed.
“It’s Showtime co-host Amy Perez informed that Direk Dyogi left the noontime studio.
Vice Ganda immediately commented, “Minsan, manggigigil ka talaga. Kung makautos kayo, wala na…Bakit hindi ba nila ito mapapanood?”
The whole “It’s Showtime” studio was filled with laughter after what Vice Ganda said.
