On October 3, GMA Network formally welcomed Jason Abalos as the newest recruit from ABS-CBN. Jason was joined by GMA Entertainment TV Senior Vice President Lilybeth G. Rasonable and GMA Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara on the contract signing.
From being a Star Magic artist for more than a decade, Jason is now part of Artist Center, the talent management arm of GMA Network. During the contract signing, Jason expressed his excitement, “Siyempre excited. Panibagong journey sa pagiging artista. Masaya lang.”
The former Kapamilya star also added, “Actually matagal ko pong pinag-pray na parang mayroong panibagong pinto na magbukas. Na magbigay sa akin ng pagkakataon. Feeling ko parang may sign na rin para pumunta ako dito eh.”
When asked on what he’s looking forward to being a Kapuso, Jason answered, “Lahat kasi ng mga nandito magagaling sina Jennylyn, sila Marian. So ako po kahit po sino ibigay sa akin para ipares sa ‘kin ng GMA, paghuhusayan ko po.”
On Instagram, Jason also shared the good news to his followers.
