Social media personality Diwata, whose real name is Deo Balbuena, revealed that he was arrested again in connection with alleged violations involving his food business, claiming he never received a subpoena before a warrant was issued.

In an emotional video posted on his TikTok account, Diwata shared the stress and exhaustion he has been experiencing following the incident.
“Guys, wala akong tulog simula ng isang araw. Nakulong ako. Yes, totoo, nakulong ako. Bakit? May warrant na naman ako. Hindi man lang ako nakatanggap ng subpoena, may warrant na agad,” he said.
According to Diwata, the complaint was reportedly filed by a government agency and is related to his pares business. He stressed that he is open to dialogue and compliance, expressing frustration over what he described as the sudden issuance of a warrant.
“Tungkol ito sa negosyo, paresan. […] Ako naman hindi ako mahirap kausap. Nakakalungkot lang. Ganyan ang nangyari. Pwede namang ayusin kung may pagkakamali ako pero bakit warrant agad? Tsaka hindi naman ako big time na negosyante,” he said.
Diwata claimed he was arrested around 6:00 p.m. and spent the night in detention.
“Ang laki ng bail. Nasa 60,000 yung bail na pinagpiyansa ko. Di ba? Grabe! Ang hirap maging Pilipino. Lumalaban ka naman ng patas, hindi ka naman namemerwisyo. Dumidiskarte ka sa sarili mo para mabuhay ka pero bakit? Bakit ganun?” he added.
He also said he could not disclose full details of the case due to an upcoming hearing, but appealed for understanding and assistance, emphasizing that he is willing to comply with any requirements that may have been overlooked.
In a separate statement shared online, Diwata reiterated that his business only earns enough for daily needs and, at times, even operates at a loss.
“Tungkol ito sa negosyo, paresan. Tamang-tama lang nga ang pangkain ang kinikita ko. Minsan abono pa,” he said.
As of this writing, no official statement has been released by the government agency allegedly involved. Meanwhile, messages of support and sympathy have poured in from netizens, many of whom are calling for clarity and due process in handling the case.
