The 40-year old actor on his career: “I’m in a better place.”
It can be recalled that Kapamilya actor Piolo Pascual once considered to quit from showbiz. The 40-year old actor said that he want to give time with son, Iñigo Pascual.
But apparently, Piolo is still active in Philippine showbiz. He recently starred on the movie “Last Night” with Toni Gonzaga and also tried producing films.
“I thought I’m gonna retire last year, ang labo nga, e. Kasi, twenty years na akong nagtatrabaho. Parang I want to give time like para sa anak ko,” he answered when asked about if his plans retiring from showbiz will still push trough.
Piolo also shared that he wanted to step out on his comfort zoned so he considered quitting showbiz. He assessed himself if he is still happy on what he is doing and what God wants him to be.
“Parang I wanted to challenge myself. Pero noong pumirma ulit ako sa ABS CBN, nu’ng mag-40 ako, I had to go through that. I had to go through that 6 months of finding myself. Nagbakasyon ako with my family. I needed to be around with my family. I needed to be around with people who understood me,” he said.
Piolo also said that he is blessed and thankful with his career after renewing contract with ABS-CBN.
“Kumbaga, hindi ko siya puwedeng i-refuse. I’m in a better place.”
