As one of the most successful telefantasya in Philippine TV, “Encatadia” has always been the benchmark for all other teleseryes in Kapuso and Kapamilya network.
GMA Senior Vice President for Entertainment Lilybeth G. Rasonable is celebrating for the unwavering support of ‘Encantadiks’ since 2005.
“Alam mo naman ang mga Encantadiks!” she shortly remarked on the warm reception of viewers to the director’s cut of “Encantadia” finale.
“You know, Encantadia is already a classic. You know, everytime something comes up, palaging nako-compare sa “Encantadia,” she said on the comparison of “Encantadia” to other fantaseries.
“I mean, kami naman, we’re gratified because it has become the benchmark of telefantasyas. How can you not even be proud of something that you’ve done where people measure telefantasyas against?” she continued.
Recently, after the unveiling of “Bagani” as the TV comeback of Kapamilya love team LizQuen, netizens started to compare the upcoming telefantasya to the Kapuso show.
Some pointed out the similarities of the two show that features the element of fire, air, water and earth.
Meanwhile, Lilybeth also talked about the possible sequel of the said fantaseries.
“If only for that, that is a contribution we have to television here in the Philippines and it deserves a sequel and for sure, it has to be thought of very well.
You have to surpass the first and the second, so I think, bigyan natin ng time,” she ended.
