On January 17, 2018, Regal Entertainment offers Kapamilya love team Diego Loyzaga and Sofia Andres on the new film “Mama’s Girl.” This movie serves as their launching movie as a love team after the success of the Kapamilya afternoon drama “Pusong Ligaw.”
Sofia admitted that she feels nervous thinking that her first movie as a lead actress will be showing next week.
“Sobrang nakakakaba po. Please po, tulungan n’yo kami sa Mama’s Girl,” she said.
According to Sofia, they want to prove that her love team with Diego could keep pace with other popular love teams in the country.
“Kasi marami ring mas sikat na love team kesa sa amin kaya we’re really trying our best na… (may mapatunayan), We know naman po that we can pero sana po bigyan din kami ng pagkakataon,” she said.
“Kabado po ako… Kasi ako yung ‘mama’s girl’ eh. Either hit it or… alam n’yo yon? Basta prayers na lang po,” she continued.
On the other hand, Diego also admitted getting pressured on his upcoming film.
“Of course, meron talaga, whether it comes from ABS-CBN or our families or even our fans, lagi naman. I mean, diamonds are made up of pressure, so if we turned out like diamonds, eh, di ang ganda,” he said.
Meanwhile, on the upcoming fantaseries “Bagani,” Sofia was asked if Diego will join her in the cast.
“Hindi ko pa po alam. Nagte-taping pa lang po kami. Pero I’m praying na makasama siya,” Sofia answered.
