- Mocha Uson said some Thomasians curtailed UST AAI’s freedom of expression.

Malacanang Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson decried bullying and lambasting over her UST Alumni Award in Government Service.

In a video interview posted by @ABSCBNNews, Uson asked if some Thomasian embody the real Thomasian core values when they bully her.
“Sila ba do they embody the Thomasian core value sa kanilang pangaalipusta sa isang tong tuload ko”? asked Mocha.

Also in the interview, Uson was asked about her take on Sen. Joel Villanueva’s comments on her award.
The PCOO Asec advised the Senator to be humble and not to be a hypocrite because he was the one dismissed by the Ombudsman for graft and corruption.
“Sakin lang sana wag syang magmalinis. Sya nga itong hinatulan ng Ombudsman na idismiss dahil nga sa kanyang kasong graft and corruption. So yung nga po since magkapatid kame sa pananampalataya sana wag maging mataas ang tingin nya sa sarili nya”. said Mocha.
And lastly, she called out Thomasians who protested her award in the streets calling to defend press freedom and freedom of expression but they are the one curtailing the UST AAI freedom to express their choice of awardees.

“Itong ilang Thomasian’s nagrarally sa kalsada sabi ipaglaban ang freedom of speech, freedom of expression. Tapos yung karapatang ipahayag ng UST AAI na isama ako sa kanilang awardee, so sino ngayon ang nagka-curtail ng freedom of expression.”
