It seems like the rift between Aljur Abrenica and Robin Padilla is now over. In recent Instagram posts, they went to a family dinner together. However, the fact that Robin now accepts Aljur raised many questions.
Did Aljur accept Robin’s requests on marrying Kylie in order to have a stable family life? Will the wedding bells ring for Aljur and Kylie soon?
Aljur expressed his happiness on seeing Kylie’s smile while having both him and her dad in one place. He added his gratitude on the warm welcome he received.
“Wala ng mas mahalaga pa sa pamilya at siyempre sa ngiting ngayon ko palang nakita mula sa mahal ko.. Salamat po sa mainit na pagtanggap..”
Kylie and Aljur welcomed Alas into their lives in August 2017. It remained public knowledge that Robin and Aljur didn’t share the best of relationships after his birth. This led to Aljur’s apology to Robin when he appeared on Tonight with Boy Abunda in October 2017.
“Kung mapapanood niya man ito, kung may nagawa man ako na sa tingin ninyo ay hindi maganda or naging kasalanan ko, humihingi na po ako ng sorry sa inyo. Dahil si Kylie po, wala naman po akong balak pabayaan iyan –mahal ko po iyan.”
Nonetheless, this lessened when Robin met his grandson in November 2017 when Kylie and Alas attended his daughter, Luna’s birthday. Aljur and Kylie also announced their engagement in January, three months into the pregnancy.
This also led to many asking whether or not Kylie and Aljur will get married soon.
