Iza Calzado didn’t want to answer any question regarding upcoming super-heroine Darna which stars Liza Soberano as the titular character. The said film will also be under the direction of Erik Matti.
Rumors suggest that Iza plays an important role as people can see her training with Liza.
Iza encouraged the people to ask Liza and Star Cinema instead.
“Tanungin niyo si Liza. Wala akong kinalaman diyan. Tanungin niyo ang Star Cinema”
Iza recently clarified that the 2005 version of GMA fantaserye Encantadia has nothing to do with her movie project which will star the original Sang’gres, Sunshine Dizon, Karylle and Diana Zubiri. Sunshine used to play Pirena while Iza used to portray Amihan. Karylle used to play Alena while Diana used to portray Danaya.
Iza revealed that they now have a production house which will be called Sang’gre Productions. Director Mark Reyes has yet to give details about the upcoming film.
Direk Mark will handle and direct the said film. She also admitted that they have always wanted to work together, however, they work in different networks.
Iza and also, Karylle work in ABS-CBN Corporation. Meanwhile, Sunshine and Diana remained in GMA Network.
Iza also announced that Sunshine, Karylle and Diana will be at her wedding with Ben Wintle. Although she has yet to disclose its details, she admitted that it will be a destination wedding late this year.
