- “Rev” zooms to Season 2 on ANC
- More Angie King, more exciting wheels this season
Motoring program “Rev” launched its second season on ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel this February, offering more exciting rides, unbiased car reviews, latest motoring news, and useful driving and car care tips for motorists and automobile enthusiasts.
Viewers can still expect expert guidance from the showroom to the road and beyond from host Paolo Abrera, co-host Angie King and segment hosts JP Tuason and Manskee Nascimento.
This season, viewers of the show will see more of Angie, considered among the motoring royalty in the Philippines. In the season 2 premiere, the Car Porn Racing founder showed off her one of a kind Mercedes S Class, then took the car for a spin with Paolo to demonstrate the grace and power of her luxurious ride.
Paolo has been behind the wheels of many awesome cars as well for the program, some of which he said he used to only see in magazines or online. The renowned motorcycle buff shared that working on “Rev” has been a real eye-opener for him, as he gets to learn something new about vehicles, the automotive industry, and the car community in every episode.
“I’ve learned that there’s a lot more to auto culture than what you see on the surface. I’ve also learned to appreciate the finer points to consider when test driving top quality cars and bikes,” he said.
The seasoned sports and lifestyle anchor also gave credit to the passion of the program’s production team in producing a quality show that really appeals to auto aficionados.
ANC head of business and channel operations Rhobee Pilares shared that the “Rev” team is always driven to give viewers new content.
“We’re always committed to bringing the best television motoring show to our viewers. I’m proud to say we’ve got some of the most veteran motoring experts in the country on our program giving their best. On top of that, we’ve cooked up a few surprises for this season that viewers should be excited about,” he said.
On the episode this Friday (March 2), Paolo will test drive the Maserati Levante S and will share the story behind a Toyota MR2 revived by its owner not once, but twice.
