- Edu Manzano says ‘No’ to be a grandpa
- He is proud of his children’s achievements
- He explained that he supports his son, Luis, in his decision and happiness
Edu Manzano’s contract with GMA Network just ended and he was last seen in the comedy gameshow Celebrity Bluff.
The actor returned to ABS-CBN and his new home network gave him a new start in the acting industry by being a part of ABS-CBN’s top-rating primetime series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. He gets to play the role of the vice president.

Edu did not encounter any problem or issue with his decision to transfer network. He is also looking forward to working with Coco Martin. “Finally, nagka-work na rin kami. Matagal na dapat kaso nakatali ako sa GMA,” he said.
While Edu’s showbiz career is still on the buzz, he is also proud of his children’s achievement. Most of them are graduates and a father can’t be proud enough.
However, when Edu was asked by the entertainment blog, PUSH, about Luiz Manzano and Jessy Mendiola relationship and if he is ready to have a grandson soon, he gave a direct and clear reply, “No, not at all.”
Edu Manzano doesn’t really want to say anything about his son’s romantic relationship. He believes that Luis is old enough to make decisions.
Luis Manzano is currently the host of ABS-CBN’s I Can See Your Voice. He was supposedly one of the hosts in Pilipinas Got Talent Season 6, but the management decided to choose Billy Crawford instead, since Luis’ ex-girlfriend, Angel Locsin, is one of the judges. Although both are professionals, having them together in a single show might steer some issues among viewers.
Edu mentioned that he doesn’t have the right to interfere with Luis’ happiness. And, as a father, the most important thing for him is to see his children happy.
