President Rodrigo Duterte paid his last respect to Alvaro “Cheng” Muhlach, Aga Muhlach’s father.
In a post by PCOO on their Twitter page, the President was seen at the wake of Cheng Muhlach accompanied by Special Assistant to the President Bong Go.
“Pres. Duterte pays his last respects to the late Alvaro Muhlach, father of actor Aga and actress Almira at the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig on the dawn of May 15, 2018. Muhlach passed away on May 14.” PCOO tweeted with the pictures of Duterte and Go.
Cheng died from cardiac arrest on Saturday, May 12 at the age of 74.
Meanwhile, Cheng’s son, actor Aga Muhlach also posted on his social media the Duterte’s visit to the wake.
On his Instagram account, Aga posted a video of Duterte during his visit at the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig.
“Maraming salamat, Pangulong Duterte for paying your respects to my Dad. It meant so much to me and my family.” says Aga.
Aga’s wife, Charlene Gonzales-Muhlach also posted a photo of the President at the wake on her Instagram account.
