- Gelli de Belen has returned to Kapuso Network.
- She is now part of the series “Ika-5 Na Utos”.
- The actress is set to work with her niece Inah de Belen.
Gelli de Belen was a talk show host from 2001-2010 in GMA. She transferred to other networks thereafter. Now, she’s back to ‘where she belongs’ at the Kapuso Network and will be one of the cast members of “Ika-5 Na Utos.”
Gelli said that she’s happy to see old faces that she’s worked with before and have not seen for a long time.
“I feel really at home with everybody, they made me feel welcomed so siyempre masaya ako,” she said.
Being part of “Ika-5 Na Utos”–the actress will be working with her niece Inah de Belen, the daughter of her only sister Janice.
When she was asked if she has expectations toward Inah, she was quick to reply, “Wala naman masyado, I don’t want to expect anything from her kasi ayoko siyang ma-pressure.”
Following from the huge success of “Ika-6 Na Utos”, Gelli stressed that her latest drama series will have the same intensity in terms of dramatic scenes.
“I think maganda siya, it’s worth watching, especially the first week.
“Kami ni Jean, we were talking about the script, the first week is so packed with lahat ng kailangan ilagay just to establish each character and each plot. Ang solid niya. It’s a good story, I think people will be intrigued,” she excitingly described it.
