James Reid and Nadine Lustre had started to receive and accept separate projects. Even though JaDine fans had lamented not seeing them together on the big screen for quite a while, many remain excited to see how they will fare without each other.
James is currently promoting Miss Granny, his movie with Sarah Geronimo and Xian Lim. Meanwhile, Nadine had started preparing for her movie, Ulan, with Xian Lim, Marco Gumabao, and AJ Muhlach. In an interview with ABS-CBN News’ Mario Dumaual, James revealed that he considered this set-up a “new path.”
In the said interview, James agreed with Nadine’s claims that this will be healthy for their relationship.
“It’s another path, a new path… Nadine and I will start to make separate movies, see how it goes. I agree [with her]. It’s healthy. What’s that saying — distance makes the heart grow fonder?“
James also wrote Nadine’s upcoming song, Summer, which will also feature the heartthrob. The said track will be under James’ own music label, Careless Music Manila. James also added that they still have their music as a venue for them to see and be with each other. He shared how they are always together as they collaborate on another song.
“We’re always together!”
