Months ago, the webworld exploded with rumors regarding two Hashtag members who got their girlfriends pregnant. Hashtag members Jon Lucas and Bugoy Cariño would later be identified as the subject of the wild talk.
The rumors started going around when the two Hashtag recruits were made to take an indefinite leave from It’s Showtime. During that time, the two kept mum about the issue.
Recently, Jon admitted to being a young father and husband. After his big confession, Jon posted a photo of himself with his firstborn Brycen on Instagram. When pressed to comment on similar rumors about Bugoy, Jon said that he knows nothing about it.
“Hindi ko ino-open ‘yung issue”
Jon added that he and Bugoy do not get to talk frequently. The only time that they see each other is when both are invited to out-of-town gigs.
“Hindi ko alam ‘yung kay Bugoy, eh. Hindi ko kasi siya nakakausap. Sa raket ko lang siya nakakausap, pag may out of town raket, dun kami nakakapagkuwentuhan. Pero hindi ko ino-open ’yung issue kasi nga, baka masaktan, bata kasi, baka ma-ano ’yung damdamin, hindi ko tinatanong.”
Married with a child
In an Instagram post, Jon posted a photo of him giving his son a buss.
“I am proud of many things in Life, but nothing beats being a FATHER. I LOVE YOU, Baby!”
One netizen asked Jon if he was still a member of the Iglesia ni Cristo.
“Iglesia pa po ba si @aljohn_lucas?”
This prompted Jon to make another revelation: that he is already married under the said church.
“kasal po ko sa loob ng Iglesia, handog din po baby ko:)” Now, that’s one proud baby daddy.
