Khalil Ramos posted series of questions sent by his fans and gave his answers via his Instagram stories.
A netizen asked out of curiosity if Khalil is bisexual, to which he effectively portrayed a closeted gay teen in 2016 coming-of-age indie film ‘2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten’ and gave him a nominations for best actor in the 2016 Cinema One Originals Film Festival and 2017 Gawad Urian Awards.
The young actor replied to the first question. “Been getting a lot of questions about my gender identity and some are quite offensive (not including the one above). To clear it out, I am straight. No BS. No showbiz. But I do support the fight for gender equality!“ he said in the Instagram story.
Khalil was also asked by a fan if he has a girlfriend; and the millennial actor said, “Sikretong malupet, di pwedeng ibulong”.
Khalil Ramos will have a role in a 2018 Cinemalaya Film Festival entry ‘Liway’ directed by Kip Oebanda, also starring Glaiza De Castro and Dominic Roco. He will also be part of the film ‘Paglisan’ in this year’s Cinema One Originals Film Festival to be exhibited in November. There are still two upcoming projects that are yet to be announced this year.
