Ryza Cenon will play a young woman who is taken advantage of by her own cousin in her first “Ipaglaban Mo” episode this Saturday (September 22).
Helena (Ryza) is a 26–year–old woman whose mind is like that of a 10-year old because she was born with a developmental disability. Her parents forbid her to go out for fear that people will harm her but do try to teach her how to live independently.
One of the few people they trust to take care of Helena is her cousin Dindo (Sandino Martin). Despite the trust given to him, he will be one of the men who will rape Helena the one night she was allowed to leave their house.
How will Helena and her family overcome the betrayal made against them by one of their own?
