  • It looks like “Pamilya Roces” is pulling down the GMA Telebabad block.
  • “Pamilya Roces” is getting lower and lower ratings as days pass by.
  • NUTAM and Kantar Media say that “Halik” is getting more and more viewers compared to “Pamilya Roces.”

Kapuso viewers were alarmed to see the latest ratings of “Pamilya Roces.” While its rival show “Halik” is rating high, based on the NUTAM data released, “Pamilya Roces” reached an all-time low of 4.9% last Friday (November 2) while its counterpart “Halik” got 12.0%. Meanwhile on Kantar Media, “Halik” continued to soar last Friday (Nov 2) with 26%, while “Pamilya Roces” only got 9.6%.

The story of “Halik” and “Pamilya Roces” revolve around the issue of infidelity. If RSB Drama Unit chose to make it serious and intense, GMA Drama took the lighter side.

GMA Network’s “Pamilya Roces” showcases different perspectives of a family that viewers will find amusing, but more importantly, witness relatable scenes that will tug at their heartstrings and endear them to its characters all throughout.

Premiered last October 8 on GMA Telebabad, the series is led by Roi Vinzon, Gloria Diaz, Elizabeth Oropesa and Ana Roces with Carla Abellana, Gabbi Garcia, Sophie Albert, Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Shaira Diaz.

In terms of ratings, “Pamilya Roces” has lost to its Kapamilya rival since its first day in Kantar Media or even in NUTAM. According to NUTAM, Pamilya Roces lost to its Kapamilya rival, “Halik,” with 6.4% while the latter had 7.9%. Kantar Media recorded that “Pamilya Roces” only had 10.9% while Halik had 20.0%.

Meanwhile, “Halik” (previously titled “Love Will Lead You Back”) marks the first time that Jericho Rosales and Sam Milby work on a teleserye with Yen Santos and Yam Concepcion. On its pilot day (August 13), the foursome-centered series registered a national TV rating of 18.2%, 7.6% higher than “Inday Will Always Love You” with 10.6%.

Aside from TV ratings, the Kapamilya series is also making waves online as it is now the most watched show on iWant TV, the streaming platform of ABS-CBN, having racked up 2.5 million weekly views. The show, among other top viewed TV series, helped increase the number of active users on iWant TV to an all-time high of 1.2 million in three years.
