Sanya Lopez reveals Dennis Trillo as her crush; she has no plans of competing with Solenn Heusaff

GMA Network’s newest primetime teleserye “Cain At Abel” aired its pilot episode on Monday, November 19. The show is starred by Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes, Drama King Dennis Trillo, Solenn Heusaff, and Sanya Lopez. The latter recently revealed through an interview with Journal during show’s press conference that she and Barbie Forteza, her brother’s girlfriend, have a crush on Trillo.

“That’s true, parehong crush namin si Dennis at dream naming makatrabaho siya. E, first scene namin ni Dennis, kissing scene agad kami. So I texted Barbie at biniro kong naka-strike one na ako against her. Naunahan ko na siya kay Dennis. Sabi naman niya, Ang ganda mo, Ni. Happy naman daw siya for me. Ha ha ha!”

Sanya also said that she did not regret idolizing Trillo especially now that they are working together.

“He’s really amazing kasi, considering na baguhan lang ako, very supportive siya, walang ere o yabang sa katawan. Very professional din siya. He felt na nanginginig ako sa nerbiyos at ang lamig ng kamay ko when we’ll do our kissing scene, so before the take, he made an effort na kausapin ako para ma-relax ako. Sabi niya, huwag ko na raw siya tawaging kuya at isipin kong pareho lang kami ng age level, so naging mas comfortable agad ako sa kanya. Maganda ‘yung role ko rito as Margaret, probinsiyana pero maprinsipyo. Nagkaroon kami ni Dennis ng anak pero pinili kong buhaying mag-isa kasi hindi ko masikmurang galing sa pagnanakaw ang ipinapakain niya sa amin.”

Meanwhile, a lot of the guests at the press conference noticed that the two leading ladies both came in revealing outfits. Some of the press people thought that maybe Sanya doesn’t want to be overshadowed by Solenn Heusaff that’s why she came in a revealing outfit as well.

However, the Kapuso actress explained that she’s not competing with Heusaff and that there’s no rivalry between them.

“Naku, I’m just wearing a push up bra kaya parang luluwa ‘yan, ha ha ha! Dibdiban daw ang laban namin ni Solenn but between us, wala kaming rivalry. We’re all just doing our share para mapaganda ang aming show.”

When asked about the part of the story wherein they will be switching partners, the actress said that she has no idea yet about that part and assured the viewers that there will more exciting twists in the show.

“Naku, ayoko pong pangunahan ang story at wala pang ganyang nangyayari sa mga script na pinadadala sa amin, so abangan na lang po natin. Basta, we assure the viewers na marami pang maraming exciting twists and turns of plot na mangyayari sa show.”

Sanya also revealed that she wants to try the pageant industry and become a beauty queen but as of the moment, she wants to prioritize her career first.

“Kasi maganda naman ang takbo ng showbiz career, sayang naman. E, ‘yung career ang priority ko ngayon kasi kumikita na ako. Gusto ko munang makaipon para sa pamilya ko. But nagpapasalamat ako kay Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach for offering na tulungan ako kung sasali ako. She’s very encouraging but hindi na muna siguro ngayon.”
