Director Toto Natividad left FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano in November and transferred to GMA Network to direct Cain at Abel – the show pitted against the former. Not only he brought himself to GMA, but also the top-rating show’s style.
Natividad explained that the reason why he left the show is that of Coco Martin always contradicts his suggestions.
Bandera’s source explained, “Kung minsan, e, puro close-up ang mga shots, di ba? Itinutuloy pa rin kasi ang mga eksena kahit wala si Coco.
“Pagbalik niya, uulitin na naman ang eksenang ‘yun, nandu’n na siya, puro close-up din ang mga kuha sa kanya.”

Apparently, Toto adopted the ABS-CBN show’s style to Dingdong Dantes and Dennis Trillo’s series. The exploding car trademark of the Kapamilya show was recently aired in Cain at Abel.

Toto Natividad felt that he cannot apply his ideas and knowledge to FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano since Martin already has his own ideas. Now, he’s free to use his full directing skill in GMA.
