Gabby Concepcion and Jennylyn Mercado will star in a new romantic comedy teleserye, LUV U 2 with Kiray Celis. This also stars Shaira Diaz and Sheena Halili.
This serve as the former Kapamilya artists’s first Kapuso project.
Kiray confirmed her transfer.
Celis is a product of ABS-CBN’s Goin’ Bulilit. She was present at the story conference held on Saturday, December 15. Kiray has been with ABS-CBN when she joined as a contestant of the segment, Miss Munting U of the defunct noontime show Magandang Tanghali Bayan in 1999.

Gab-Jen stars in LUV U 2.
According to Concepcion’s Instagram psot, this will be aired on prime time. GMA Network, however, has yet to reveal which show it will replace. Gabby starred in a longtime and high-rating show, Ika-6 Na Utos. Jennylyn starred in The Cure. She also used to star in My Love from the Star. The Cure became Jennylyn’s second series which didn’t rate well.

GMA Network also has a six-week policy. If a series doesn’t rate well in its first six weeks, the network will give it another week. If the series still has yet to rate high, the network would dispatch the said series.
