Paul Salas, after transferring to GMA in May, finally has a break as he will be part of the upcoming GMA series titled Kara Mia which has a tentative airing date in the first quarter of 2019.
Paul Salas previously requested the Kapuso management to include him in the primetime series Cain at Abel because he dreamed of working with his uncle Dingdong Dantes.
Unfortunately, he was not permitted because the management has other plans for him.
In the upcoming series, the young actor will be working with other Kapuso young talents such as Barbie Forteza, Jak Roberto, and Mika Dela Cruz along with his uncle Arthur Solinap.

During an interview, he shared that he was surprised when he found his name in the list of cast members.

“Excited kasi ito na ‘yung gusto ko kaya nga ako lumipat kasi gusto ko makasama ko ‘yung family ko sa work.”
