The speculations started when Montes wasn’t included in many Kapamilya events including the ABS-CBN Ball, ABS-CBN Christmas Special and a special screening of the advocacy film she starred in with Kean Cipriano under Brillante Mendoza‘s direction.

According to Raymundo, Montes actually also heard about the rumors and denied it.
“She’s in Germany with her dad… She heard about [the rumors] and we called her… pero hindi talaga totoo.”
