‘The Boobay and Tekla Show,’ a 2019 Philippine television talk show by GMA Network, has yet again topped against its rival show ‘Gandang Gabi Vice’ of ABS-CBN.
In the latest NUTAM Peoples Ratings last February 03, it garnered a total average of 5.6 percent people audience as compared to the other network who only got 3.8 percent.
Now that’s already a big gap in terms of TV ratings.

The show just premiered last January 27, joining the network’s Sunday Grande sa Gabi line up.
In its first pilot episode, it has beaten ‘GGV’ with a 5.3 percent NUTAM ratings average rate against the other network who only got 4.9 percent of people audience.

This only shows that the ‘The Boobay and Tekla Show’ successfully delivered their comedy talk show to the netizens, as they continuously gain positive feedback from their viewers. This is really one of the Kapuso network’s Sunday late-night favorite shows.

Pero maaring nagsawa na rin ang audience niya kaya naghanap sila ng bago. Kuwela talaga sina Super Tekla at Boobay. It was previously issued in an exclusive interview of GMANetwork.com, where Boobay and Tekla shared what they have learned from their mentor about how to rightly deliver punchlines and jokes. Unlike other comedians, Boobay and Tekla poke fun of themselves rather than their audience.
According to Boobay, “Walang ganun na kailangan may mararamdaman ‘yung isa. Lait-lait, hindi ako naniniwala sa ganun. Kasi sabi ni Mr. Allan K, hindi mo kailangan manlait para makapagpatawa ka.
“’Yun ang hindi ko talaga makalimutan na laging nasa utak ko. Hindi mo kailangan magmura para makapagpatawa, isa pa ‘yun.
“Kahit sa amin na lang [‘yung panlalait], yes, kasi magagawan namin ng paraan ‘yan agad-agad.
“At the same time, talagang hindi ka sensitive sa mga ganyan dahil alam mong for the sake of fun, mapasaya ‘yung audience mo, mga manonood.”

While Tekla added, “Itong TBATS hindi ‘to degrading kumbaga. Maraming form ng comedy or maraming style ng comedy na hindi mo kailangang makapanlait to make people laugh, or use people or degrade people or manlait ka para nakakatawa.”
“There’s millions, there’s thousands of ideas pagdating sa comedy.“Kailangan meron kang bawi na tinatawag. Kailangan pagdating sa dulo, instead na magalit ‘yung binibiro mo, mapapangiti mo dapat.”
