The fast rising star, Kyline Alcantara, who is known as the “la nueva diva” in the series Kambal, Karibal, has been in the industry for eight years now.
Before fame, Kyline started her career in the television industry through the reality based talent competition, Star Circle Quest (SCQ), the search for the next kiddie star of ABS-CBN in 2011. Being unlucky to be the grand questor, it didn’t stop her from pursuing her dreams.
She became a Star Magic signed actress and had numerous starring and supporting roles in some shows and teleseryes. One of the series you might not forget where she portrayed was her role as rival half sister of Annaliza, Arlene, in the making of Annaliza, starring Andrea Brilliantes.
In the late 2017, the young actress decided to leave the Kapamilya network and transfer to GMA Network, where she plays the role of kontrabida to Bianca Umali in Kambal, Karibal.
The young star admityed its not easy for her to leave the Kapamilya network, since it was where she started her career. But she is thankful for everything she has learned from them.
With the success of the Kambal, Karibal series, Kyline is feeling proud since her role as kontrabida Cheska/Crisel made a mark to all the viewers. The young star can’t help but feel overwhelmed for everything that is happening and is wishing for never ending blessings.
“Ayoko pong mawalan ng trabaho, to be honest,” Kyline said.
