When photos that seemed to prove Gerald Anderson was allegedly cheating on girlfriend Bea Alonzo with his Between Maybes co-star Julia Barretto went viral last July 21, many celebrities and the public rallied behind Alonzo and offered her their support.
Some of Bea’s closest friends also called out Gerald on social media for ghosting Bea.
After her cousin Osang Odango’s outburst on social media, it was Bea’s best friend Kim Buan’s turn to express his anger towards Gerald.
On Instagram, Buan posted a message saying, “Buti nasave ko tong deleted tweet ko before.
“Well di ako talaga ako nagkamali.
“Naulit na naman!
“Sabi ng kaibigan ko. ENOUGH.
“F*ck you ka po.”

His old tweet reads, “Wag yung kaibigan ko, Napakalaki mong GAG* GERALD! Karma na lang bahala sayo! Ul*l!”
Aside from Instagram, he also aired his rage on Twitter.
Buan tweeted, “Ganyan ka ba talaga ka GAGO! F**k You ka! Tag ko na ba!? Shit nakakagigil ka!”
“So…. eto na naman tayo… nakakagigil kang gago ka!!,” he added.

Julia’s sister Dani Barretto and mom Marjorie Barretto have already come to her defense. Both claimed that Julia and Gerald were just friends but some people put a malicious spin to a photo of two friends hanging out. Julia herself has remained silent on the issue.
For his part, Gerald has also remained mum on the controversy.
Some celebrities who are friends with Alonzo started unfollowing Barretto on Instagram and vice versa.
In a report from Cabinet Files, a source revealed that Dennis Padilla, Barretto’s father, allegedly called Anderson to talk about the controversy involving his daughter. Anderson supposedly confessed to Padilla that he was courting his Between Maybes co-star and confirmed his split with Alonzo.
However, Alonzo denied that there was no formal breakup. According to the actress, Anderson just stopped talking to her.
She said, “He said that? Honestly, to my understanding, we did not break up. He just started not talking to me.”
