Just when we thought the Julia-Gerald-Bea controversy was dying down, Gerald Anderson’s mom, Evangeline Opsima, aired her sentiments regarding the issue which aired on TV Patrol South Central Mindanao on August 23.
Gerald’s mom Vangie admitted that she really didn’t like Bea for her son, “Hindi ka niya binastos kailanman. Kahit hindi niya alam… alam mo, nag-a-argue kami ni Gerald laban sa ‘yo dahil ayaw nga kita para sa kanya. Ngayon, ito na lang gawain mo sa kanya, binabasura mo ang bata. Lagi mong pinatatamaan ang anak ko. Ano na ba kasama si Gerald?”
Vangie also aired her resentment towards Bea’s makeup artist. “Isa pa na hindi ko nagugustuhan? Pati make-up artist mo, magbitaw ng salita laban sa anak ko. Hindi naman ako puwedeng manahimik sa mga lumalabas na isyu, lalo na si Bea na humaharap talaga sa TV.”
As a mother, she could no longer bear the negative comments that her son has been receiving that started with Bea’s cryptic post implying that she had been betrayed and her liking photos of Julia Barretto and Gerald.
Netizens then concluded that Gerald had cheated on Bea with Julia.
