Senator and actor Bong Revilla is looking forward for his upcoming movie with Eat Bulaga host Maine Mendoza. He also expressed his excitement to join the (MMFF) Metro Manila Film Festival again which is held during the yuletide season.

He admitted that he misses promoting his films, doing mall shows, and watching the Parade of Stars and awards night of the film festival.

Plans for their upcoming movie were already laid out last year. According to columnist Lolit Solis, the two stars will play as father-daughter so fans have nothing to worry about.

“Gustong-gusto nga ni Bong Revilla na pagbalik pelikula niya kung sakali, makasama bilang anak o pamangkin si Maine Mendoza dahil hanga siya sa comedic timing nito. Cute iyon idea na ibinigay na mahigpit na uncle ng isang pilyang pamangkin, bago pareho for both Bong and Maine. Wala romantic angle kaya wala dapat ika-react ang fans,” she clarified.

Rams David of Triple A management also approved of Maine’s upcoming movie with Bong.

Apart from Maine, Bong expressed his interest to work with Catriona Gray, Vice Ganda, and Pia Wurtzbach who also have receptive fans.

Bong left the Philippine National Police Custodial Center last December 2018, four years after his arrest and detention for alleged plunder of legislative funds.

He won the senatorial election this May despite garnering criticisms for his budots dance campaign video.

Meanwhile, Maine is currently paired up with Kapamilya actor Carlo Aquino for the BlackSheep movie Isa Pa With Feelings. She was the former love team partner of Alden Richards in their popularly known tandem AlDub. They decided to go on their separate career paths earlier this year.
