It seems that Kapamilya singer Sharon Cuneta is now on good terms with her former love team partner and husband, Gabby Concepcion.
Last September 22 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Sharon and Gabby surprised Filipino teachers at the annual Gabay Guro event by performing together onstage.
Sharon even shared that the surprise performance was also a surprise for her since she didn’t even know that Gabby was also present at the event.
“Actually the truth is, nagulat din kami, we weren’t supposed to sing together. I don’t even know that he’s going to be there. I prepared two songs, and then he asked a friend of mine if he could talk to me.”
Cuneta then decided that time has passed and she felt happy about the excitement that she sees in people who are still into their love team.
“And I said, ‘You know time has passed and I think it’s okay.’ It was nice we talked, so we’re okay and just right there, kasi andon din si Pops Fernandez and the people from PLDT…
“So sabi ko it was nice din because I saw the reaction, how warm the people were still into our team up.”

When the two performed, the loud shriek and screams from over 25,000 teachers in the audience was deafening. Fans clearly showed their excitement for the former couple performing together.
After the performance, Sharon introduced her former partner.
“For the first time in forever, Mr. Gabby Concepcion, ladies and gentlemen.”
Gabby also introduced Sharon, joking, “And Miss Sharon Cuneta Concepcion, noong araw.”
The crowd went wild because of the two’s chemistry.
“I think the chemistry cannot go away, you cannot fake it. They know that I am happily married, they know that he has a family also, na magkahiwalay na kami ng buhay na ilang taon na,” Sharon said.
According to Cuneta, what happened that night was so unplanned.
“It was so unplanned ‘yung kagabi at mas importante sa amin ‘yung reaction ng mga tao. Ako nagulat rin ako na ‘really up to now?’
“And even on IG, Twitter and FB, I get a lot of requests (na) I hope that before you slow down or retire, please do a movie.”
Furthermore, Sharon is happy that everyone knows that she and Gabby are now on good terms.
“I think it was also nice to show everyone na okay na kami, maayos na kami, hindi na kami magkagalit. I think that’s what more important,” she said.
