Morissette Amon finally speaks up about the ‘walkout’ issue: “I was also triggered”

“Please pray for me as I journey towards healing, my family’s, and the people around me.”

Controversial 23-year-old singer Morissette Amon finally spoke up about her walkout issue during Kiel Alo’s birthday concert at the Music Museum last November 6, 2019. When Morissette walked out of the said show, her manager David Cosico and the show’s producer Jobert Sucaldito were forced to appear on stage and apologize on behalf of Morissette.

They told the audience that the singer had medical and emergency issues.

Now, the Kapamilya singer has publicly apologized to everyone involved, specifically to Jobert and Kiel for leaving a few minutes before her performance on stage. According to Morissette, she will take full responsibility for what happened, adding\ she was only triggered by Mario Dumaual’s interview.

She said, “Took some time to process things despite the schedules before me, but with much prayer and as I have never done this before, please let me start by saying sorry. To Tito Jobert, and Kiel Alo who was celebrating his birthday concert at the Music Musuem that night, what I’ve done was out of character but I still do take full responsibility. I guess I was also triggered by the surprise interview minutes before performing, regarding the issues between me and my family. This private matter is something I purposely did not want to openly share for fear that healing might not prosper between us. The moment got the best of me, and it wasn’t fair to those who expected me to come out onstage as one of the concert’s guests that evening.”

Furthermore, Morisette emphasized that she thoroughly understands that Mario was only doing his job and she’s continuously asking for prayers on her journey towards healing.

“I also want to apologize to Sir Mario Dumaual who, I was told, felt bad about the situation. I understand completely that he was only doing his job and values it as much as I do mine.

“Please pray for me as I journey towards healing, my family’s, and the people around me. I am overwhelmed though by those who reached out to me with love and support, not just these past couple of days but earlier on this year, during this particularly painful season of my life.”

Despite the bashers and criticism from showbiz veterans Daisy Romualdez and Annabelle Rama, Morissette expressed her gratitude towards the people who keep on sending her love and support messages. At the end of her public apology letter, Morissette stated that she’s striving to have balance and to become more stable in the face of everything she’s going through right now.

She said, “ I appreciate all of you. I also want to bring to light the concern of many towards my emotional and spiritual well-being. As best as I can, I strive to achieve a sense of balance and stability. I feel for all those who are going through the same thing and just want to remind you, as I have been reminded, that we are not alone. As Christmas is fast approaching, I am also reminded by the coming of our Lord and I am grateful for His love, kindness, forgiveness, and guiding hand in my life. Wishing you all and your families a happy blessed Christmas!”
