For over a decade, 25-year-old Kapuso actress Julie Anne San Jose has stayed loyal to GMA Network, despite having other friends on the rival network. She thoroughly believes that working at different networks will not affect their friendship.
Julie revealed, “I have a lot of good friends sa kabila (ABS-CBN), but for me kasi parang ung network rivalry tapos na kasi ‘yon. I mean nasa isang mundo naman tayong ginagalawan di ba? And ako bilang isang singer, ang music, universal ‘yan para sa lahat ‘yan it doesn’t matter kung what station ka, kung nasan ka naka-pirma. We only have one goal, to make people happy to entertain.”
She continued, “Ever since kasi sa GMA na po talaga, parang batang GMA na ‘ko eh. Dito na talaga ko lumaki sa GMA and just very grateful for everything.”
Loyalty pays off
For Julie Anne, loyalty really does pay off. GMA has consistently given her projects, with some she can tick off her bucket list, such as:

- Breakthrough’ became one of the top iTunes Philippines All-Genre Chart album
- Received German Moreno Youth Achievement Award at 2018 FAMAS
