Regine Velasquez and Sarah Geronimo’s first-ever collaboration concert in February 2020 was supposed to be a grand event, but it only took one post of Regine’s sister and manager Cacai Velasquez-Mitra for people to start labeling the Velasquez sisters as “credit grabbers.”
Cacai was overwhelmed to know that her sister’s upcoming collab concert with Sarah was almost sold out in less than 12 hours and posted about it on her Twitter account, tagging Regine but forgetting to tag Sarah.

Regine did not hesitate to express her disappointment towards some fans of Sarah. She reiterated that Cacai probably did not know that Sarah had a Twitter account and that with all the concerts she has done through decades, this is by far the only concert she was labeled as a credit grabber.
