On Instagram, Megastar Sharon Cuneta made an appreciation post for the successful collaboration concert ‘Iconic’ with Regine Velasquez which gave them the ‘Entertainer of the Year’ award from the 32nd Aliw Awards.
Sharon praised Regine in her post as well. “I shone brighter on stage with you beside me. My Sharonians love and respect you and I love your Reginians for the love and respect they have shown me too!”

The post comes after Sarah Geronimo fans accused Regine of being a ‘credit grabber’ when Regine’s sister Cacai Mitra posted about their collaboration concert but failed to tag Sarah. A netizen expressed her love and support for the singers and emphasized that there are no issues at all between Sharon and Regine.
“We love you Mega and your Sharonians too. No issue at all during the concert. Makikita mo talaga ang love and respect sa bawat isa.”
The 53-year-old Megastar strongly agreed with the netizen. Sharon said she hoped that fans of all artists could respect other artists even if it’s a collaboration concert as it will totally reflect on the outcome of their performance. Sharon reiterated that Regine deserves no negativity at all.
She said, “Respected artists must shine together during a collab, helping each other every second of the way. I wish all fans of all artists could respect other artists that their idols work with too. Regine deserves NO NEGATIVITY AT ALL. She has such a pure heart and has been loved by all Pinoys worldwide for over 30 years. She deserves nothing but respect and appreciation!”
Cacai calls for peace and positivity
Since the bashers of Regine started when she posted her excitement about the almost sold out concert of her sister and Sarah Geronimo, Cacai Mitra now calls for peace, love, and positivity.
Cacai also advised Reginians and other supporters not to engage further with bashers, and remind everyone that Sarah has nothing but a pure heart.
