In her first public appearance after announcing she was leaving Viva Artists Agency, Nadine Lustre said that she’s excited to work on her music.
As for life post-breakup with James Reid, Nadine stated that she’s okay and working on her music takes up too much of her time.
Nadine said, “I’m good, I’m okay, I’m working [on] a lot of stuff now. I’m really excited, also working on my music now that finally, it’s gonna happen this year.”
To stop the allegations created by the netizens, Nadine pointed out that everything is okay between James and her, it’s just that netizens were exaggerated.
She continues: “We’re good that’s all everyone needs to know. I think the social media kasi just blew it out of proportion, talagang medyo naging OA lang but we’re super good.”
Moreover, Viva Films CEO Vic Del Rosario still considers Nadine as part of Viva’s talent pool and hopes the Kapamilya actress will take time to have a meeting with them and sort things out.

Boss Vic said, “7 movies pa sana kontrata na exclusive. ‘Yung Miracle (in Cell No. 7), tinanggihan niya, buti naman tinanggap ni Bela, meron pa kaming in-offer na iba. Sa kontrata naman pwede naman siyang mag-no pag di nila type pero ang bawal, bawal lumabas siya sa iba. Viva is here, we’re just waiting for you, hope to sit down with you.”
In an interview with MJ Felipe, Nadine chose to keep mum regarding her issue with Viva.
“No comment. Meron kasi ako natutunan the past couple of months, it’s kind of like my mantra. There’s no way around it, only through it. So there’s no other way, there’s no shortcut, everything all the challenges that will come into your life, walang shortcut ‘yun e, you have to go through it and after you go through it, parang growth.”
Nadine willing to work with James for future TV series
Out of all the negative issues that Nadine is going through right now, Kapamilya actress said that she’s still willing to do TV series and other projects with James, and as for her, it will be a reunion for the both of them on-screen.
“Of course, maybe in the future. But right now, the goal is to work on other stuff separately, I’m super open, it’s gonna be a reunion.”
If there’s something essential that Nadine has learned through the breakup and the legal issue with Viva, she confessed that after all the storms, she will be a better person.
