After quite some time, James Reid and Nadine Lustre have officially announced their separation as lovers via Tonight with Boy Abunda on Monday evening, January 20.
“It’s true that we have split up but not for all the reason that are being spread on the tabloids and social media but because after quiet and mature conversations, we decided to focus on ourselves not only for our careers but more for our personal growth as we are still young and we want to achieve as much as we can.”
“We agreed that going separate ways was best for both of us. We are in good terms and are still really good friends and will continue to work with each other especially when it comes to music.”
The relationship went on for three years, 11 months, and nine days, short of 23 days before they reach their supposedly fourth anniversary.
JaDine, short for James and Nadine and coined name for their pairing in their first film together via a romantic-comedy Diary ng Panget in 2014.
A few days back, Lustre belies Ricky Lo, Philippine Star’s entertainment editor and columnist about the rumor of her breakup with Reid.
It was in March 2019 that both confirmed they are living in together under one roof as a couple.
The former tandem’s films were Talk Back and You’re Dead (2014), Para sa Hopeless Romantic (2015), This Time (2016), and Never Not Love You (2018).
