Jasmine Curtis reacted to the issue naming her as the alleged ‘third-party’ in Ruru Madrid and Bianca Umali’s relationship.
According to Jasmine, for as long as you are confident of knowing who you are, you won’t be bothered to get involved in such an issue. The Kapuso actress also stated that it has always been the nature of other people to drag other people in someone else’s mess.
Jasmine said: “That’s fine, whatever, that’s a relationship, people would always drag people in other people’s messes. It’s just knowing your place, and being confident knowing who you are, what you’re really involved in, if hindi ka naman involve sa drama nila, just stay away from it, kebs!”
The Descendants of the Sun actress revealed that she knows what it feels like to be involved in issues, as it is part of the industry and celebrities can never get away with it.
“Part of industry, you just get used to it more than anything. Alam mo naman ‘yung katotohanan, ‘wag ka na lang magpadala.”
Meanwhile, Jasmine also stated that getting involved in a relationship issue as a ‘third-party’ does not bother her anymore.

“No, not my relationship to be bothered about. I don’t let it consume me, kasi sa kanila na ‘yun eh, is theirs to fix. If they have a problem then, sila ang mag-usap, same naman with me if kami naman nagka-problem ng boyfriend ko ayoko naman may nadadamay ibang tao sa news, sa media, kawawa naman ‘yung tao. I know the feeling, I felt it many times in this industry.”
Jasmine Curtis and Ruru Madrid worked together on their first movie as a love team last November 2019 in Cara X Jagger. Jasmine played the role of Cara who has hyperthymesia (she can remember everything with precise dates and time), while Ruru played Jagger, a motocross riding champion who got into an accident and suffers from amnesia.
The issue between Jasmine Curtis and Ruru Madrid began when Bianca Umali allegedly sideswiped Ruru’s car during the premiere of Cara X Jagger at SM Megamall’s parking lot due to jealousy.
Ruru immediately denied the issue and reiterated: “Sa akin better na huwag na lang magcomment kas inga parang kung magco-comment ako, wala naman kasi nangyari talagang ganun. Nakakalungkot kasi bakit pa may lumalabas na ganung bagay. Para sa akin hindi na kailangan pang lagyan ng mga.. kasi at first may maapektuhan eh. May magmumukhang masama pero wala naman po nangyaring ganun. Para sa akin it’s better huwag na lang pag-usapan.”
