Angel Locsin has been focusing more on helping the frontliners by putting up tents at different hospitals to help address the overcrowding and ensure a rest area for frontliners to stay. Locsin has mostly kept silent except for the Vico Sotto issue.
In a Twitter post, Angel said she believed Koko Pimentel should be called out instead of Vico Sotto when the latter was summoned by the NBI for alleged violations.

A netizen reacted to her post, agreeing with her opinion. But then, the netizen instructed Locsin to advise her colleagues who were lambasting the president.
“Tama po. Tsaka pakisabihan mo nga po yung mga kapwa mong artistang GRUMADUATE LANG SA LOOB NG PBB na biglang naging political analysts na nangbabush sa ating mahal na pangulo ngayon na tumahimik na lang sila at tularan kang may silbi sa lipunan. Salamat po sa iyong serbisyo,” netizen replied.
As a response, Locsin advised the netizen to it let go and focus on the real enemy which is COVID-19.

Locsin also received negative criticism from a professor about her charity efforts. The professor claimed that she is merely an overpaid actress who is only doing charity work for publicity. Angel didn’t let it get to her and just continued to do her relief work for frontliners and hospitals.
