Former Overseas Workers Welfare Administration Deputy Executive Director V (OWWA) Arnel Ignacio called out his pro-Duterte supporters to stop engaging with celebrities who make posts against the President.
In his Facebook live, Arnell remarked on how stars from different networks have joined together to criticize the government.
“Tignan niyo yung nangyayari, napansin niyo ba ngayon nag sabay sabay sila pati yung mga artista. Ano ‘to? Nag-usap ba tong mga ‘to?”
He speculates that there is an alliance with an orchestrated plan to have more people be against the President,
“Mayroon kase nang provoke sa kanila, it’s a plan, it’s an orchestrated plan, ang nangyayari kase pag mayroong nega na narining syempre may mga fans yung artista babanatan mo yung artista magagalit yung mga fans niya di ba?
“So ang mangyayari ngayon tayong mga [Duterte] supporters, uh maaring mga supporters ng mga fans nila, unti unti tayong mga uubos araw araw, araw araw nilang ginagawa yan.”
The post of the artist itself is not relevant but Ignacio believes that it is the DDS supporters who are putting relevance on the posts.
“So please pakiusap ko po wag niyo pong i-repost, do not engage, kase habang humahaba yung usapan eh nabibigyan ng karagdagang relevance and empower yung pong nag post.
“Di niyo ba napapansin napakarami nating sumusuporta kay presidente pero ang maingay yung kabila. Alam niyo bakit tayo ang nagdudugtong nung buhay.”
Ignacio encouraged his fellow DDS to stop wasting their energy on the anti-Duterte.
“Kaya wag na. Do not engage in very stressful exchange of your thoughts.”
Arnaldo Arevalo Ignacio was one of Duterte’s supporters during his presidential bid in 2016.
Ignacio was nominated by Duterte himself as Deputy Executive Director V last year, 2018. However, he resigned from his post for personal reasons.
