This was the reaction of a netizen after the Soho and Morales interviewed Senator Koko Pimentel after he breached quarantine protocols when he accompanied his wife to the Makati Medical Center while he was a PUI (Person Under Investigation) for COVID-19.
The 24 Oras anchors Jessica Soho and Vicky Morales interviewed Pimentel III during their live broadcast last March 25.
During the live interview, Soho asked Pimentel: “Mabigat po ang statement ng Makati Medical Center. You were ‘reckless’ daw at nabawasan pa tuloy ‘yung kanilang mga tauhan. Naka-home quarantine pa po kayo, e, bakit pa ho kayo pumasok sa ospital? Kaya tuloy, e, nagkaroon pa ng problema sa kanilang ospital.”

Soho also didn’t hesitate to ask about the rumors of VIP Testing.
“Senator, of course, I have to say we’re sorry you tested positive pero kailangan ko rin tanungin ito kasi issue ito the past days. Bakit parang may palakasan daw diyan sa testing na ‘yan? At ‘yung mga pulitiko natin, nakapagpa-test kahit wala namang symptoms.”
Morales was in charge of questioning Dr. Bong Javier, Medical Director of the Makati Medical Center. Morales was apparently infuriated by the incident as seen in her interview with the doctor.
“Doc, medyo nakakagalit, nakakalungkot itong nangyari sa hanay ng mga health worker sa Makati Medical Center. I can just imagine siguro umuusok ‘yung mga chat group ng mga doktor sa mga sandaling ito.”

In defense, the senator said that he had been on home quarantine for 10 days. When he accompanied his wife to the hospital for her planned delivery he did not yet realize that he was positive for COVID-19.
It was while he was at the hospital that he claimed that he was told he had the COVID-19 virus by the RITM (Research Institute for Tropical Medicine).
The senator was bashed for his breach of quarantine protocol.
