Proud transgender woman BB Gandanghari opened up about the current status of her relationship with former wife Carmina Villarroel, admitting that they are no longer in communication but saying the actress will always hold a special place in her heart.

During her guest appearance on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’, BB was asked whether she and Carmina have remained friends through the years.
According to BB, they have not stayed in touch, making it difficult for her to describe their relationship as a friendship.
“We are not in touch but… okay maybe not as a friend kasi we have not really talked,” she said.
Despite the lack of communication, BB stressed that Carmina continues to be an important person in her life.
“She always has that special place in my heart, I think.”
BB, formerly known as actor Rustom Padilla, also recalled that before she permanently relocated to the United States, she and Carmina became neighbors.
“We saw each other in the gym and that was the time when we were able to exchange hellos,” she shared.
“I’ve always looked forward na makita siya ulit,” BB added.
During the same interview, BB also revealed that she recently returned to the Philippines because of health concerns, although she did not elaborate further.
Last year, BB celebrated another milestone after graduating summa cum laude from the Los Angeles Film School, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Business.
Meanwhile, Carmina remains happily married to actor Zoren Legaspi, with whom she has twins Mavy and Cassy Legaspi.
