Finally! Bobbie Salazar met her mother’s true favorite, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto.
Yesterday, actress Bea Alonzo shared her encounter with Mayor Vico on social media as she handed over relief goods and medical supplies to the city as part of her campaign for Father’s Day.
On her Instagram account, the latter posted a picture of herself with the young mayor with a funny caption.
“Hi Mama! Nakilala ko na ang paborito mo! 🤣 Joke!”
Her caption was in reference to her movie Four Sisters and a Wedding where Connie Reyes, the real life mother of Vico, played her mom.
It’s one of Alonzo’s most memorable lines in the film where she confronts Reyes’ character about playing favorites between her and her siblings.

Announcing that she had met Sotto to hand over relief bags and disinfectants for the city’s frontlines under the I Am Hope Foundation, she also thanked Sotto and Pasig Rep. Roman Romulo for their help.

The actress handed over relief bags and disinfectants from her charity, I Am Hope, to Sotto as part of a campaign to celebrate Father’s Day this weekend.
“In line with Father’s Day, we intend to celebrate the fathers who choose to serve the community by cleaning the streets and picking up our garbage. MARAMING SALAMAT PO sa mga tatay na street sweepers at garbage collectors sa pagtulong sa ating kumunidad at sa pagttrabaho ng marangal para sa kanilang pamilya. From the I AM HOPE FAMILY, HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!”
Sotto replied to her post by thanking her for the donations and greeting fathers on their day.
