Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez called for electing true leaders on the 2022 election to serve the country.
On her Twitter post, Regine reminded the netizens of the power to elect true leaders in the upcoming 2022 elections.

Due to the issue of ABS-CBN franchise renewal, she was able to express her thought for the upcoming elections.
Regine also recalled that artists and singer like them were used during the campaign period. But this time, she urged them to used their influence to elect leaders who are deserving of the position.

She also expressed her disappointment in those who wish the disapproval of the ABS-CBN franchise in the time where a lot of companies have closed down due to the pandemic.

On June 10 (Friday), ABS-CBN’s bid to renew their franchise was rejected by the House of Representatives Committee on Legislative Franchises after 13 hearings.
