During an online interview for his recently concluded virtual concert, Daniel Padilla revealed that he wants to get married and start his own family with his long time girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo before turning 30.
“My dream wedding would be a beach wedding…Ang nakikita ko talaga after three or four years, basta before ako mag-30, iyon ang gusto ko.” He added: “Ayoko masyado patagalin na umabot na sa range ng 30s, kasi ‘pag tumapak na sa 30, ang bilis na naman, e. Sana before 30, maging swabe na ang lahat at matuloy ang kasal,” he said.
When asked about having a child, he replied, “Why not? Why wait? Kung okay naman ang sitwasyon. At least kung hindi ka pa masyadong matanda, puwede ka pa makipaglaro. Kaya rin gusto ko siya maging goal, iyong edad.”
Padilla’s statements were affirmed by Bernardo a week later during the virtual media launch of their upcoming series, The House Arrest of Us.
“Before 30? Yeah, iyon naman talaga ‘yung deal namin. May ilang panahon pa kami before we turn 30.” she said.
“Actually, iyon naman talaga ‘yung plan. Of course, agree,” she added.
She confirmed that they have been planning for the said event and are working hard to save up for their future family.
“Napag-uusapan naman namin ni DJ, I think nasa tamang age na kami para i-ready ang mga sarili namin ‘pag dumating tayo sa punto na ‘yon,” the actress said.
“Now, iyon ‘yung dahilan kung bakit kami nagtatrabaho. Lahat ng kailangan i-ready. Kasi malaking step ‘yon. Pagdating doon, at least ready na kami, and relax na lang,” she said.
When asked about having their child after marriage, she jested, “Siya ‘yung magbubuntis!”.
KathNiel onscreen chemistry began in 2012 in the TV series “Princess and I.”
More projects were offered to the two young stars. In 2018, Padilla confirmed that they have been together for more than 5 years, which means that their romance began around 2013.
Until today, they are still one of the most sought tandems in the showbiz industry.
ATheir newest digital series entitled “The House Arrest of Us” will air starting October 24 and 25 on KTX.ph and iWantTFC respectively.
