Actor Alex Medina posted his opinion on the lack of vaccine after the government assured the public for 9 months.
In his post, he said that after nine months, the government failed to procure a vaccine. He insinuated that just like magic, they have been deceiving the Filipino people all along.
Tanginang mga to walang vaccine pala, dami niyo sinasabi ng nine months. Lumalabas parang nag magic lang talaga kayo ng kung ano ano. Huwow. Salamat sa WALA

Earlier this month, news that multiple pharmaceutical companies succeeded in creating a vaccine for the CoVID-19 virus. According to Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr., they were able to secure 10 million doses of the vaccine from Pfizer together with the Philippine Ambassador to the United States, Jose Manuel Romualdez.
With the help of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, the Pfizer vaccine delivery was for January 2021. However, according to Locsin, someone dropped the ball on the deal, delaying it.
Although Locsin did not name the culprit, Senator Panfilo Lacson accused Health Secretary Francisco Duque III of bungling the 10 million vaccines deal with Pfizer.
According to Lacson, the government would have secured the Pfizer vaccine deal if not for the health secretary and his “indifference” after he “failed to work on the necessary documentary requirement.”
Lacson added that the representative from Pfizer reached out and followed-up about the submission of the document requirement.
“The country representative of Pfizer was even following up on the submission of such documentary requirement,” said Lacson.
Duque, on the other hand, denies the accusation. He notes that the deal with Pfizer is currently underway.
