Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto visited his brother, Oyo Boy Sotto, on the set of his ongoing TV series, Daddy’s Gurl.
He said that one of his reasons to visit was to collect the fees owed to the city by M-Zet Production which is owned by his father, Vic Sotto.
On Tuesday, December 8, Vico posted on his Facebook account a photo with Oyo along with the cast of the series Daddy’s Gurl at the Rainforest Adventure Experience Park in Pasig City.
He mentioned that it’s been nine months since he last saw his brother saying, “First time to see Kuya Oyo since March!!! Visited them on the set of Daddys Girl in Pasig’s very own Rainforest AdVenture Experience Park.”
He then jokingly said that he visited his brother on the set just to collect their pending fees. He quickly took back his statement but Vico noted that they indeed have fees.
“Binisita ko sila para maningil ng fees. Joke lang. Pero totoong may fees sila,” he said.
He explained that the employees of LGU (Local Government Unit) were shy about collecting the said fees of M-Zet Productions because it is owned by his father Vic Sotto. However, he said that because the production company was owned by his father, all the more the fees need to be collected.
“Actually, nung una nahihiya yung mga empleyado ng LGU na singilin ang M-Zet Productions ng fees, dahil alam nilang kay Papa yun. Pero nung nalaman ko to, ang sabi ko, MAS LALONG DAPAT singilin pag kamag-anak ko!!” said the Pasig City mayor.

To end his post, Vico said that he will check if the fees were already paid saying, “Ma-check nga bukas kung bayad na sila.”
Vico Sotto first entered politics when he ran for a seat on the Pasig City Council in 2016. He won the election as an independent and served a term on the city council. He is the child of Vic Sotto and actress Coney Reyes. His brother Oyo’s mother is actress Dina Bonnevie.
